I was hugely excited about this wedding and it did not disappoint me in any way. Lucy and Adam are the type of people you just love to be around, and couple that with the fact that they were also getting married at Elmore Court in Gloucestershire and you are on to a real winner. After initially speaking with them on Skype, we met up on the Bristol Harbourside for their engagement shoot where we spent a good hour or so followed by a relaxing coffee in one of the many Harbourside cafè’s.
As a wedding photographer in Oxfordshire I am very blessed with the number of stunning wedding venues that I am surrounded with. And Ardington House near Wantage is no exception! As this was my first time photographing a wedding at Ardington House in Oxfordshire a few days prior to Christina and Tony’s wedding I made a visit to Ardington House to have a recce of the location and was blown away by the amazing setting and also the views from the house!
A couple of months back I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding at the amazing Great Barn Devon. A spectacular venue for a wedding and one which I hope to return to some day soon.
This particular image which I have chosen isn't exactly weddingy and could have been taken anywhere - but I love this photograph. It was taken during the wedding breakfast and even though this a quite time for me and allows me to take a break, I still have the cameras at the ready.
"We can't thank you enough for these and the lovely engagement photos, we have said right from our first meeting that we knew we made the right choice with photographer. You have captured every part of the day perfectly and so many moments that we hadn't even noticed. Many of our guests commented on how friendly you were but also how they barely noticed you with the camera!"
