One of my latest engagement shoots was with the very lovely Michaela and Jake, and took place on the stunning grounds and gardens of Blenheim Palace. This was a rare occasion of meeting with the couple for the first time, not having spoken with them beforehand but immediately accepting the booking- not that I object to doing it this way ;) So I very much looked forward to meeting with them both or their engagement shoot.
This was my first visit to the Great Barn Devon! And what an amazing venue for a wedding!
I initially spoke with Flo and Rich in the summer of 2016 via Skype when they booked me for their wedding day. And we first met up in person in Oxford to carryout a lovely and relaxed engagement shoot around Oxford city.
Sarah and Ali are due to get married at the very lovely Lains Barn in Oxfordshire later this year. I first made contact with them both via Skype as it wasnt possible to meet in person, so it was exciting to meet with them in person at the very lovely Christ Church meadows on a gloriously sunny day! As well as taking in the lovely views along the river we also took a slight detour and captured a few photographs down by the Oxford University boats houses. Finishing up with a coffee and a chat in the Queen’s Lane Coffee house.
Sabina and Simon's day was fantastically original and the theme of the day was to have lots of fun! Tatters the dog played a large role in their day and had the important job as ring bearer during the ceremony, which he executed perfectly :) An ingenious cryptic game kept the guests entertained during the wedding breakfast - and if you wanted free drink then you had to take part and solve the puzzle - a brilliant and well thought out game by Simon!
Sabina and Simon were lovely! I loved being part of their wedding day and having the opportunity to capture some special moments of their day at North Cadbury Court.
