The colleges around Oxford never disappoint when it comes to photographing weddings. The beautiful architecture and immaculate gardens make for great backdrops and locations in which to make stunning photographs of the couples on their wedding day, and when you have a beautiful couple like Toby and Sarah it makes photography fantastic for me as a wedding photographer.
Their Oxford wedding started with the ceremony at The Oxford Oratory Church of St Aloysius Gonzaga, one of my favourite churches to photograph a wedding ceremony in Oxford. After the ceremony Toby and Sarah left The Oxford Oratory and met with me for a few wedding portraits outside the Bodleian Library, followed by a short walk to Wadham College for the drinks reception and formal group photographs. The wedding breakfast and speeches took place in the Old Library of Wadham college, which was a stunning room to hold the breakfast!
After the reception was completed and few additional formal group photographs the whole wedding party including Toby and Sarah took a 10 minute walk through the city centre of Oxford to start the evening celebration including immensely fun ceilidh dancing!
It was a really special day made all the more special for me with a lovely couple and amazing venues, and great weather to suit!
Below are a few of my favourite images from Toby and Sarah’s wedding day! Thank you, Dale.
If you are getting planning a wedding in one of the Oxford University colleges, or looking for a wedding photographer in Oxfordshire I would love you to get in touch to discuss your wedding day plans with me. Thank you, Dale.
