The colleges around Oxford never disappoint when it comes to photographing weddings and engagement shoots. The stunning architecture and immaculate gardens make for great backdrops and locations in which to make stunning photos, and when you have a beautiful couple like Toby and Sarah it makes life much more fun for me as a wedding photographer.
Although we had spoken on Skype, the first time I met with Jasmin and Mike in person was at the very beautiful Ashton Court Estate in Bristol for their engagement shoot.
With the immense house and beautiful gardens which were just coming into bloom, we had plenty of picturesque places to choose from for some lovely photographs.
As with all my couples when arranging their engagement shoot I always give them the choice of picking a location (or offering locations if they have no where specific in mind) With both Charlene and Alex both being from Bristol the obvious choice for them was the Bristol Harbourside.
This weekend involved three engagement shoots, the first being very local to my home on the White Horse Hill, followed by two more in the beautiful city of Oxford.
The below engagement shoot shows a selection of photographs of the very lovely Vanessa and Jon, who will soon be getting married at the amazing Blenheim Palace in a few weeks time. Starting the shoot near the centre of Oxford we took a few shots around the area of the Bodleian library before making our way to Christchurch stopping occasionally along the way for a few additional photographs.
