I have had the pleasure of photographing many weddings in and around Oxford city centre, and having the luxury of the Oxford colleges which never disappoint when it comes to photographing weddings. The beautiful architecture and immaculate gardens make for stunning backdrops and locations. But this was the first time where I had the pleasure to photograph a wedding reception in the Ashmoleum Museum!! What an absolute treat this was going to be!
I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of lovely people this year, and Emma and Andy were a truly fun loving and genuine couple.
Jade & David's wedding took place at The Tythe Barn, Bicester with the bridal preparations taking place close by in The Nook, a lovely little outbuilding with perfect consideration given to the preparation of the bride - specific hooks and shelving in place to hang the dress/veil, a space for shoes and the bouquet!
Although I had been pretty lucky for most of the wedding season with regards to weather, on this day it took a slight turn for the worse and decided rain! But it didn't dampen any spirits and a few umbrellas aided in keeping everyone dry.
