I have had the pleasure of photographing many weddings in and around Oxford city centre, and having the luxury of the Oxford colleges which never disappoint when it comes to photographing weddings. The beautiful architecture and immaculate gardens make for stunning backdrops and locations. But this was the first time where I had the pleasure to photograph a wedding reception in the Ashmoleum Museum!! What an absolute treat this was going to be!
Although I had been pretty lucky for most of the wedding season with regards to weather, on this day it took a slight turn for the worse and decided rain! But it didn't dampen any spirits and a few umbrellas aided in keeping everyone dry.
This was my first wedding at the Crazy Bear in Stadhampton, Oxfordshire, and a wedding which I was very much looking forward to! The day began when I met with the gorgeous bride Fiona and Milton Hill House, Oxfordshire for the bridal preps. It was a busy morning with bridesmaids, mum and dad all busy getting ready, so plenty to keep me busy :) We left Milton Hill House for a short journey to Abingdon for the ceremony at Our Lady and St Edmund church. After which was another short trip to the eclectic Crazy Bear Bear!
Jayne and Oli’s ceremony took place at St Andrew’s church, Shrivenham, in Oxfordshire followed by a relaxed and friendly reception at the Shrivenham Memorial Hall.
