Lains Barn Wedding | Millie & Ashley
Millie and Ashley’s September wedding at Lains Barn in Oxfordshire was a perfect blend of relaxed but joyful celebration, all set against the backdrop of beautiful late-summer weather.
The day began at Milton Hill House, where Millie got ready alongside her bridesmaids. The atmosphere was calm but full of excitement, with laughter, final touches, and a quiet, meaningful moment when Millies dad saw her in her wedding dress for the first time.
The ceremony took place at Lains Barn, a stunning countryside venue that provided a warm and intimate setting as Millie and Ashley said their vows surrounded by family and friends (and their lovely dog!). Afterward, guests gathered outside for a confetti throw—one of those vibrant, joy-filled moments that always brings big smiles and a touch of magic to the day.
The drinks reception followed, giving everyone a chance to relax, catch up, and enjoy the sunshine. During this time, we captured a selection of natural family group photos, keeping things easygoing and efficient so the couple could get back to celebrating.
Later in the day we took some time to explore the grounds of Lains Barn with Millie and Ashley for their couple portraits. With the soft September light and the rustic charm of the venue, it was the perfect opportunity to capture some beautiful, timeless images of the two of them together.
As the evening set in, the celebrations continued with a lively disco. The dance floor quickly filled, and the energy carried through the night, rounding off a truly memorable wedding day full of love, laughter, and great company.
