The Trout at Tadpole Bridge, Oxfordshire

The day began with bridal preparations at The Trout, where Polly spent the morning getting ready with her bridesmaids. There was a wonderful atmosphere of excitement as the finishing touches were made before everyone headed outside for the ceremony.

The couple exchanged their vows in a beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooking the River Thames. Bathed in warm sunshine and surrounded by their family and friends, it couldn't have been a more perfect setting to begin married life together.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a relaxed drinks reception while I captured a selection of family group photographs. The gardens and riverside location offered plenty of beautiful backdrops, allowing everyone to enjoy the wonderful weather while celebrating with the newlyweds.

The celebrations then moved into the beautifully decorated tipi, where Polly and Henry hosted their wedding breakfast. The rustic setting created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with heartfelt speeches, fantastic food and plenty of laughter shared throughout the afternoon.

As the sun began to lower, we took the opportunity to wander down to the banks of the River Thames to capture some relaxed bride and groom portraits. With the soft evening light reflecting across the water, it was the perfect chance for Polly and Henry to enjoy a few quiet moments together away from the celebrations. These portraits became some of my favourite photographs from the day, beautifully capturing not only the stunning location but also the genuine happiness between them.

As evening arrived, the celebrations continued with live music, dancing and a packed dance floor, bringing a fantastic end to an unforgettable wedding day.
